Wawasan video

Video TikTok @dreasmith08 “8-year-old Marian Scott was heartbroken after her school, Paragon Charter Academy, in Jackson, Michigan, excluded her from school picture day because her red hair extensions violated the school’s dress code. The incident sparked widespread criticism over the school’s decision. When Chicago-area photographer Jermaine Horton heard about her story, he drove to Michigan and organized a free professional photoshoot with a donated wardrobe. Marian proudly wore the same red extensions that had prevented her from taking her school pictures. He says he wanted Marian to know she should never be ashamed of being herself. “It was fun,” she said. “You got to pose and to be yourself.” The Silver Lining: After her story went viral, professional photographers reached out to lift Marian's spirits. Most notably, photographer Jermaine Horton traveled to Michigan to give Marian her own empowering, high-fashion photoshoot—featuring her red braids—which made national headlines on networks like CBS, CNN, and ABC. This happened in 2019…I’m posting so that schools won’t try this again!!! If they do, WE will make them famous 🙌🏽🙏🏽 #blackgirlsrock #blackgirlmagic #blackexcellence” memiliki 42.540 tayangan, 5.860 suka, 323 komentar, 151 kali dibagikan dalam metrik publik yang dicatat indeks ini.
