CAN I INTERVIEW YOU IN JAPANESE? A man from Australia appears in Shibuya at night. But when I asked about his roots, an unexpected country came up. His parents are from Mauritius, an island nation east of the African continent. And what made his story even more interesting was his job. He currently works as a kickboxing coach while also creating videos for social media. When I asked how he learned Japanese, I discovered that he was studying entirely on his own. Although he laughed about how difficult Japanese is, he still made the effort to express himself in his own words. 👇 What do you think of his determination to learn Japanese on his own? Being “good at Japanese” isn’t about perfection — it’s about having the courage to speak like this. #streetinterview #shibuya #japanlife #learnjapanese #japan @Paul (aka Leon) — TikTok @shintaro_tkd
