Video TikTok @art_dailydose “"Painting gave Jim Carrey another way to express himself beyond the screen. But around 2011, painting began taking up more than his time. Working through a painful period, he turned to color and canvas as a place to put feelings he struggled to express. Soon, his Los Angeles home was overflowing with paintings. He joked that they had become furniture, and that he had even eaten meals off them. The work could be as physical as his performances. For some larger canvases, Carrey worked on the floor, lying across a ladder positioned above the painting so he could reach its center. He poured paint, scraped back layers, and worked late into the night. In the 2017 short film I Needed Color, he offered a glimpse into this private world, where making images helped him work through emotions rather than perform them for an audience. Although he eventually exhibited his work publicly, Carrey spoke about painting as part of the same creative impulse behind his acting, drawing, and sculpture. The medium changed, but the need to express something remained. For someone whose face had become so familiar through comedy, the studio offered another way to be seen. Instead of a character, a script, or a punchline, there were colors, figures, and whatever he needed to work through that day. #art #painting #artist #creativity #jimcarrey"” memiliki 13.702 tayangan, 818 suka, 14 komentar, 32 kali dibagikan dalam metrik publik yang dicatat indeks ini.
