If you’re planning a trip to St. Augustine for Nights of Lights, the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront is one of my favorite hotels for being right in the middle of the Christmas magic. Located directly along the historic bayfront, this hotel puts you just steps from the lights, the Plaza de la Constitución, St. George Street, restaurants, shops, attractions and so much of what makes Christmas in St. Augustine feel so special. And during Nights of Lights, location matters. Instead of worrying about finding parking every time you head downtown, you can walk out of your hotel and start exploring. Grab dinner, stroll through the historic district, see the lights along the bayfront, wander St. George Street and then walk right back to your room when you’re done. The Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront is also one of those hotels that just fits the setting. The Spanish Colonial-style buildings blend right into historic St. Augustine, making it feel like you’re staying in the heart of the city rather than at a typical hotel. 🎄 Nights of Lights in St. Augustine runs November 21, 2026 through January 18, 2027, and if you’re planning to visit during the busiest weekends or around the holidays, I would definitely start checking hotel availability early. Want to save on your stay? TikTok is currently offering eligible first-time travel bookers 50% cash back up to $200 after completing their stay. Click the green location pin on this video to check your dates, compare booking options and see if the cash-back offer is available for your trip. And if you’re still deciding where to stay, I’ve been putting together a full Nights of Lights hotel series. Check the Nights of Lights playlist on my page for more of my favorite hotels, and take a look at my Nights of Lights Story Highlight for even more St. Augustine Christmas tips, places to stay and things to do.
