Wawasan video

Video TikTok @deeploneliness_ “There’s a point where waiting for somebody to respond stops feeling hopeful and starts feeling humiliating. In the beginning, you check constantly. You open the conversation even though you know nothing new is there. You notice when they were last active. You wonder whether they’re busy, whether they’re upset, whether you said something wrong, whether you should send another message or pretend you don’t care. And every time your phone lights up, there’s that tiny second where you hope it’s them. Eventually, though, something changes. Not necessarily because you stopped caring. Sometimes you still want their name to appear on your screen more than you’d ever admit. You just get tired of repeatedly putting yourself in a position where somebody else’s attention determines how you feel about yourself. There’s a difference between somebody occasionally being busy and somebody consistently making communication feel like a privilege you have to earn. People have jobs, families, responsibilities, bad days, and moments where they simply don’t want to be on their phones. Nobody owes another person immediate access to them every second. But when someone regularly reads what you say and decides it isn’t worth acknowledging, disappears whenever a conversation becomes uncomfortable, or somehow has time for everything except communicating with you, eventually the silence starts communicating for them. And that’s when you stop checking. Not as a manipulation. Not because you’re hoping they’ll notice you’ve pulled away and chase you. You stop because you’ve realized how much energy you’ve been spending waiting for basic reciprocity. That’s a strangely sad stage because from the outside it can look like you’re finally over it, while internally you may still care just as much. You’ve simply learned not to reach for the stove every five minutes to see whether it’s still hot. Sometimes detachment doesn’t begin with anger or some dramatic goodbye. Sometimes it begins quietly. You stop double-texting. You stop checking their activity. You stop making excuses for the silence. You put your phone down and continue your day. And eventually you realize something you once desperately waited for doesn’t control you anymore. The saddest part isn’t that you stopped wanting their response. It’s that they taught you, little by little, to stop expecting one.” memiliki 16.145 tayangan, 354 suka, 6 komentar, 20 kali dibagikan dalam metrik publik yang dicatat indeks ini.
