3 things I wish I knew before going to New York 🇺🇸👇 First: don’t queue for Joe’s Pizza near Times Square. 🍕 I know you’ve heard all about it. And yes, the pizza is well nice. But that queue? Can be an absolute joke. Instead, make the trip to the original Joe’s Pizza in Greenwich Village. You’ll get to see a completely different side of New York and, usually, you won’t spend anywhere near as long waiting. Same iconic pizza. Different experience. Next: this bargain NYC hotel. 🗽 I wish I knew about Little Charlie Hotel before my trip. The location is brilliant. You walk outside and it genuinely feels like you’ve stepped into a New York film. And for how cheap this place can be, the room size is actually pretty decent. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel in New York or trying to plan an NYC trip without blowing your budget on accommodation, definitely have a look at this one. And finally: walk the Brooklyn Bridge properly. 👇 I wish someone had told me this before my first trip. Go at sunrise. It’s quieter, the light is beautiful and the whole experience is just better. Then, when you’re on the bridge, come to this spot for that famous Brooklyn Bridge photo 📸 Head up these steps, through here and you’ll get an amazing view of Manhattan. Then finish here — and yes, there are free toilets in here too 😂 But obviously… You’re really here for this view. And it doesn’t cost you a penny. So if you’re planning a New York trip, save this. Because some of the best NYC travel tips aren’t about finding another massive tourist attraction. They’re knowing where not to queue, where to stay and where to go for the best views. Save this for your NYC itinerary 🇺🇸 And send it to whoever you’re planning New York with. 👀 #NewYork #NYC #NewYorkCity #NYCTravelTips #NewYorkTravel — TikTok @robadcock
