On my latest trip, my ferry was switched to a completely different vessel at the last minute, meaning it arrived at a different gate in Piraeus. I forgot to tell them. They messaged me first saying: “Isn’t your ferry arriving at this gate instead?” That honestly tells you everything. For an airport transfer, they’re usually only a few euros more than taking a taxi from the official queue. And sometimes, with the discount in my guides, the difference is basically gone.
