Analyse de la vidéo
La vidéo TikTok de @5h1ttybuilds « LED Lights explained with Minecraft Ok so, what parts of that would have pissed off scientists? The “materials” are two types of silicon, that make a “P-N Junction”. The N-type material has a surplus of electrons making it slightly negatively charged. Which is why the electrons in the highest energy state are free to float around (all the atoms already have enough electrons). The P-type material has a deficit of electrons, meaning they have spots in their orbitals where electrons should be, but aren’t (called “holes”). This make the material slightly positively charged. In between the materials are a region that electrons can’t cross without the right amount of force (Voltage)… or quantum tunnelling, I guess. This is the “depletion zone” and is why electrons don’t just move to the other side on their own. We “force” the electrons over the depletion zone by applying a voltage onto them (usually around 0.6V). The colour of the LED is determined by the amount of energy the emitted photon has. Also, the atom build shown is wildly inaccurate and obviously just being used to visualise the concept. #Minecraft #learnontiktok #minecraftmemes #Science » compte 40 459 vues, 3 749 j’aime, 13 commentaires et 13 partages dans les indicateurs publics relevés par cet index.
