So much of it is handmade that it feels like you’re standing inside one giant 360-degree piece of art. Everywhere you look there is another pattern, another color, another detail. Even the chandeliers are insane. And then you realize this isn’t simply a palace to look at. This is an actual meeting place where some of the world’s most powerful leaders have been welcomed during visits to Tajikistan. Imagine sitting here discussing international politics while surrounded by all of THIS. 😂 I think I would spend half the meeting staring at the ceiling. What I really love is how proudly Tajikistan incorporates its traditional art, colors and craftsmanship into important buildings like this. And remember, we’re not even in Dushanbe.
