Steam for 30 to 40 minutes, until soft. 4. Place the peels on top so the upper sweet potatoes don't get too mushy and stay slightly firm. 5. For the chutney, cook the tamarind pulp, a little water, jaggery, salt, red chilli, coriander powder, cumin powder and tehtari mirch until thick. 6. Add the sweet potatoes and cook briefly so they absorb the tamarind flavour. 7.
